Business card website: price and what's included

What a business card website is, which pages it has, what it costs and what drives the price. Plus a checklist of what to prepare before you order.

A business card website is the simplest kind of site for a business or a specialist: a few pages that explain who you are, what you offer and how to get in touch. Here is what it includes and what drives the price.

Who needs a business card website

  • specialists: lawyers, doctors, psychologists, tutors, craftspeople;
  • local businesses: a salon, a studio, a café, a car service;
  • companies that need an official page for partners and clients;
  • people who have Instagram but want to be found on Google.

What a business card website includes

  1. Home page: who you are, your main offer, a contact button.
  2. Services: a list with short descriptions and, if needed, prices.
  3. About you: experience, certificates, photos, the team.
  4. Reviews or work samples, if you have something to show.
  5. Contacts: phone, messengers, address, map, a form.

Often all of this fits on one to five pages.

What drives the price

  • Number of pages: one long page is cheaper than five separate ones.
  • Design: a template or a custom one.
  • Editor: whether you want to change texts and photos yourself, without a developer.
  • Language versions: Ukrainian, English, others.
  • Texts and photos: yours, or they have to be prepared.

My guide price for a turnkey business card website: from $250 to $600. The basic version includes up to five pages, a responsive layout, a contact form, basic SEO and launch on your own domain.

What it costs to keep the site running

Besides development, a website has yearly costs:

  • domain: every year;
  • hosting: for a static business card site it can be free (Cloudflare Pages, Netlify);
  • updates and support: as needed.

If you need support after launch, we agree on it separately: see website support and rework.

What to prepare before ordering

  • a list of services with short descriptions;
  • a logo and brand colours, if you have them;
  • photos: yours, the team's, the premises, your work;
  • contacts and working hours;
  • 2–3 websites you like, and what exactly you like in them;
  • access to your domain, or the name you want.

Summary

A business card website doesn't have to be expensive, but it should be fast, clear on a phone, and have your contacts in plain view. If you need one, here is how I build a business card website, end to end.
