Website support and rework

A site is not something you build and forget: forms break, new pages are needed, versions get updated, the business changes.

You don't have to rewrite everything: often it is enough to fix and add to what is there.

What I do

• Bug fixes: forms that don't send enquiries, failures on phones, broken layout.
• New pages and features in the style of your site.
• Updates: versions of the system, libraries, extensions, security.
• Migration to another hosting, domain or system.
• Working through someone else's code: if the previous developer is gone, I will figure out what is there and how it works.
• Technical SEO: headings, descriptions, language versions, sitemap, redirects.
• Backups and monitoring: so a problem is noticed before your clients notice it.

What I work with

Vue 2 and 3, Nuxt, React, WordPress, plain HTML and CSS. If the stack is unusual, write to me and I will take a look.

One-off help or ongoing support

• One-off: describe the task, and I estimate and carry it out.
• Ongoing: we agree on a monthly number of hours or a package of tasks, so you have someone to turn to.

How much it costs

The price depends on the tasks: a small fix costs one amount, a new feature another. For ongoing support we discuss the scope. Write what is wrong with the site, and I will give a cost and timeline.

Errors in my own work within 30 days after launch I fix free of charge: that is a warranty, not support. The rate for everything else is from $15 to $30 per hour.

1. Task description: what does not work or what needs to be added.
2. Estimate: how much time and money it will take.
3. Work on a test copy, so the live site keeps running.
4. Checking and publishing.
