Online store development
A site where the customer picks a product, places an order and pays, and you manage the range and the orders.
Guide pricefrom $700 to $2,000
I build the whole store, both what the buyer sees and what works behind the scenes: catalogue, orders, admin panel, integrations.
From a small showcase to a store with thousands of products connected to accounting.
What a store can be built on
- Custom code (Vue, Nuxt, React and your own back end): full freedom, top speed, any logic. Suits cases that need non-standard scenarios.
- WordPress with WooCommerce: an editor many people know, many ready-made extensions. Suits a typical store where a quick start and familiar management matter. More in WordPress websites.
- Shopify or other platforms: when you need a ready framework and don't mind paying the platform a monthly fee.
I will advise which base is better after the brief: it depends on the catalogue size, the budget and your plans for growth.
What an online store includes
- Catalogue: categories, product cards, filters, search, product variants.
- Cart and orders: checkout without extra steps, one-click orders.
- Payment and delivery: online payment, integration with the delivery services you need.
- Admin panel: add products, change prices and stock, process orders without a developer.
- Integrations: accounting, CRM, mailings, analytics. Which ones depends on your business.
- SEO basics: addresses of categories and products, headings, descriptions, product structured data, sitemap.
- Speed: the store opens fast on a phone, where most buyers shop.
- 30-day warranty: after launch I fix errors in my work free of charge. New features and changes are separate, see support.
A responsive layout is part of the job: I don't charge extra for it.
How much an online store costs
Guide price: from $700 to $2,000. The price depends on:
- the number of products and the complexity of the catalogue;
- a unique design or a ready template;
- the platform: custom code, WordPress or Shopify;
- the number of integrations: payment, delivery, accounting, CRM;
- languages and currencies;
- features: loyalty programme, user account, comparison, reviews.
I give the exact cost after the brief.
How the work goes
- Brief: what you sell, how many products, how you want to take payment and deliver.
- Structure and design of the catalogue, the product card, the cart.
- Development and filling in: the store, admin panel, integrations, moving products.
- Launch and checking orders from start to finish.
- Ongoing support: new features, updates, support.
Frequently asked questions
Can I move products from my old store?
Yes: I move products, categories, photos and pages to the new site so the risk to addresses and search positions stays minimal.
Online store or catalogue website?
If the customer has to place an order and pay on the site, you need a store. If it is enough to show the range and take an enquiry, a catalogue website is simpler and cheaper.
